The libraries all show up, and show up as registered and installed, authorized in product manager. My main question is it worth the SSD space and is ST4 actually ready for prime time, especially if someone already has lots of other options? I want to choose something in the GB that I will actually use, I’m not interested in filling up another SSD with ST content just because it’s really inexpensive that has better alternatives on different platforms.Īnother somewhat related question, if I choose Sampletron does it work well as a standalone or does it really need Sampletank to operate properly?įwiw I already have Mtron with several expansions so a functional alternative to Mtron will be great if Sampletron works on its own sufficiently. After numerous reinstalls of SAMPLETANK 4 MAX - I cannot get any instruments to show in SAMPLETANK. Is Sampletank 4 actually on the same level now as Kontakt,Sine,Spitfire etc…….based libraries? I know price-wise this will be ridiculously priced and I imagine I can use ST expansions I have from previous versions of Sampletank but………… I think the GB will probably hit enough tiers for me to grab Sampletank 4,is it better than Sampletank 3? Is it worth the precious SSD space if someone already has about 8 terabytes of samples for Kontakt (primarily)……………. I hated the Sampletank 3 update to the point that I trashed and deleted everything Sampletank related several years ago and didn’t even bother looking at ST4 until this very moment. It was my choice soft sampler before Kontakt in my mind took over. One question I have for Sampletank users,I used Sampletank heavily back in the day,Sampletank 1 & 2. This GB will be fully utilized & much appreciated here. Well for a change I’m quite happy that I skipped the Group Buy IK had last year & held off upgrading to Amplitube 5 the last several months.
